I am sharing the files i used on my Tevo Tornado Gold version for the X Linear Rail. This upgrade was pretty difficult. I tried a few different mods but ended up fighting with them and had to tweak them a bit to get them to work. The files in the Remix are what I used to get this up/running. Been running perfect now for two weeks. For this upgrade, you will need a 400mm MGN12H Linear Rail. I purchased mine from Amazon and then 3D printed the rest of the parts. The stock belt will also need to be replaced as well as the one the Tevo comes with is not long enough.
The X Axis mount has a spacer. The spacer gets installed into the idler pulley and the screw then goes through it and screws into the stepper motor. The idler pulley I used was a GT2 Idler pulley. These can be picked up pretty cheap from Amazon. You will also need to use 4x 30mm x M3 screws to mount the stepper motor. I had an assortment of longer M3 screws laying around, so this wasn't a problem. You can also refer to the remixes I've tagged in this post for further clarification on installation.
Majority of parts include:
1x 400 mm MGN12H Linear Rod
-Assortment of M3 Bolts (30mm to 40 mm length)
-new belt
-x3 GT2 Idler Pulleys
The new belt and Idler pulleys were purchased as a kit on Amazon. You can also 3D print the Idler Pulleys, but I do not recommend that as the belt is under pressure and will degrade the plastic over time.
