I made this chain to use DaVinci2000's semi open drag chain links and adapted mokakua's adjustable x-carriage. i used 17 links total. the main carriage piece prints fine without support.
I used PETG at 40% infill for PLA i would suggest a little higher to make it stronger. The gantry mount part needs supports, print it the same way it opens up. the links need to be printed slower, 20% infill is fine. make sure the lids are on the flat part it opens upside down.
