The Tevo Tarantula Pro is a great FDM printer, but unfortunately, some of the parts you will need or want to modify aren't included. Theoretically, you can print those parts yourself using the TTPro, but if you want that "factory look" for your parts, you'll need to use a resin printer. I used an Elegoo Mars, which I can highly recommend, but obviously, use what you want/have/need an excuse to buy... =)
Obviously, this knob isn't strictly necessary as a perfectly useable one is included with the printer, but I really like the look of the TTPro with a longer, skinny, black encoder knob as originally depicted in Tevo's 3D rendered marketing materials. So I designed my own! Besides the sleeker shape, it has knurling on the shaft and features a skirt around the base that blocks the LCD's backlight from seeping out around the knob. See the attached pictures.
The STL file might need to be rotated in your slicer of choice so that a flat face is sitting on the printing plate/base. See the attached image of the part placed in ChituBox for an example of what worked for me, and should work for you too. If printed with a resin printer and properly placed on the build plate, this part doesn't need any supports. I wouldn't recommend printing this knob on an FDM printer, or the TTPro itself, as you'll probably lose all detail on the knurling, but it's up to you!
