I designed this to be a template for cutting a 1/8th inch (3mm) aluminum sheet. It could be printed as well.
In this version i have utilized a lower duct under the gantry so you'll need to lower the extruders. This is why the sensor mount is printed separately.
I wanted access to the set screw for the heat breaks, so i turned the extruder around, and also designed a blower duct because I was not happy with the tiny 30mm fan's cooling.
The lower duct only needs bed supports because I designed it to be printed without. I believe I used .2mm layer height.
Print the Front duct with the extruder face down, using bed supports as well, I have included a version with built in supports if needed for the mounting slot, otherwise this was also designed to not need additional supports.
I have designed the duct supports to include an air filter. I just use an air conditioning filter and cut it to size, but you might be able to use something like a coffee filter, The benefit here is it should aid in filtering your print fumes and protect your fans from getting dirty. If you don't want the filter then you'll need to shim the lower part as its spaced for accommodation of the filter.
I choose to use flared copper pipe instead of the plastic tubing so that I can. use high temperature firmament without problem. Also the flared end made loading filament much easier, given that there is not much space between the extruders. However, its not required because you can still use the pfte tube to direct the filiment to the hot end.
This project has been a long time coming and is remixed from my original versions.
