This is my version of the 15 degree extruder mount modification.
It bolts onto the X axis mounting plate in 4 places that are easy to get to from behind.
It has an end stop on the RH side so its easy to assemble nice and square.
It also includes a BL touch mount which can be left empty if you don't have one.
I designed this to be as rigid and easy to print as possible and I printed it vertically just like its mounted and have the following settings
5 vertical shells
4 top shells
4 bottom shells
25% infill
0.25 layer height
for mounting hardware I used
4 x M4 socket head cap screws and nuts with washers
2 x standard extruder mount screws
2 x standard BL touch screws and nuts
I highly recommend you move the Y axis all the way forward then unbolt 4 grub screws that hold the Y axis in position to the whole X and Z axis gantry then when loose move the assembly so the table edge is directly above the extruder i.e so you achieve a full Y axis print area of 250mm.
for your firmware you want to set the BL touch offset to
X axis 42
Y axis 15
Z axis -2 (approx)
DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I MENT ABOVE AND YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THESE SETTINGS DO!
