Complesso termale, che sorge nei pressi dell'anfiteatro maggiore della città dell'antica Puteoli. I resti del complesso sono pertinenti al frigidarium e alla sua parte posteriore. l'area destinata ad accogliere gli ambienti freddi era arrcicchita da un'abside centrale scandita da nicchie ed archi. le sale disposte ai lati avevano volte a crociera o a botte. La zona del Calidarium era posta più in basso, oggi è obliterata da edifici moderni. Il complesso termale doveva apparire come un imponente edificio scenografico, visibile dal mare, realizzato nel II sec. d.C., ed utilizzato fino al IV sec. d.C. //// Near the Amphitheatre, are visible the Thermae of Neptune, the main thermal centre of ancient Puteoli, built in the II century A.C. The structure presents a very scenic system on various levels. Today only the frigidarium is visible, with the ruins of the rooms originally at the side of the apse with niches and arches, and the lateral rooms covered with cross and barrel vaults. The rooms used for the water and air heating (praefurnia), englobed in the building standing in via Pergolesi, can be visited.
