If you need an accurate reading of the outdoor temperature, direct sunlight and Rainfall is a problem.
On a chilly but sunny winter day the temperature reading might be 10-15 degrees too high because of direct sunlight warming the sensor.
The solution is shielding the sensor from the sun while not restricting airflow, since the air temperature is what we're interested in.
The shield is designed in 6 different pieces. i.e., base+Layer01+Layer02+Layer03+Layer04+Layer05
All the pieces are fixed together with a 6mm(Diameter) Threaded Rod and nuts.
The base mount is designed to mount on a 1.25 inch pipe
