The Taurus Class SuperBattleship is one of the most heavily armed ships in the Confederation. It boasts 2 Superheavy Particle Cannon, 16 Heavy Ion Cannon, 40 Heavy Twin Laser Turrets, 48 Medium Twin Particle Cannon, and a whopping 256 Medium Twin Laser Turrets! It also has a single spine mounted Superheavy Gigalaser, capable of utterly destroying a capital ship in a single blow, or destroying a city. The Hangar in the rear half holds 10 squadrons of 10 Scythe Starfighters, almost as much as an entire Support Carrier. The three Rolls-Royce RD-1100B Reality Drives can accelerate the ship up to 6.5G, as fast as an Avenger Class Attack Craft! Only 6 Taurus Class SuperBattleships are currently in service, the CSS Blackout, the CSS Dominator, the CSS Wargame, the CSS Rampage, the CSS Devastator and the CSS Taurus, the first of the class to be made. Four more are under construction, with a further 78 planned.
