I was looking around for a better way of remembering the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet. Since we live in Taiwan my children need to learn Chinese, but I found a problem with what I saw when shopping for school supplies. There was nothing to "touch". This type of sensory imput was important for me when I was growing up, but all I can find are flash cards, books, dotted lines, and story books. There was nothing tactile for my children to play with.
I spent about 3 hours using Sketchup and importing all the Alphabet Symbols onto a base so that they can act like dominoes, and we can mix them up and have the children learn to recognize them more enjoyably.
