Two designs of FCS softboard finboxes:
One to be installed into the board and one to be attached onto the board - i.e. which does not require cutting into the board.
For both versions you will need M4 screws and nuts to attach them to the board.
The length of the screws depends on the thickness of your board.
Furthermore, you will need 3mm grub screws to secure the fins, or you can also make the holes bigger and use normal fin screws, but those are a lot more expensive.
The distance between the screws for attaching the fin-boxes to the board is 10cm, which is the distance for e.g. olaian softboards.
Print at 100% infill!
Supports are not required!
I have already tested the adapter-version and I'm very satisfied with the result.
I use it on my olaian board in combination with the mini fins you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4559571
In my opinion it works a lot better for river surfing than the original fins.
Edit 2020-12-31: added v2 for the finbox to be installed into the board.
It is a bit stronger (first version broke after some time), uses normal Fin-screws and has a 6 degree angle outwards for the fins.
I also attached a picture of the finboxes installed in a softboard.
They work great.
