The Lian Li O11D Mid Tower Computer Case does not come with standard support equipment for today's heavier gaming GPUs. When I installed my Asus TUF 3070 OC onto an Asus Pro WS X570-ACE Motherboard in the O11D case, it had some significant sag at the back end. To promote support, especially when the case gets moved around and to support vertical G-force changes, a support was designed that picks up the Original Equipment, OE, mounting points under the unsupported corner of the GPU. Using the wide-flat head screws that come with the O11D (with ~10mm head, ~7 mm total length, ~4mm OD), the support can be installed on the bottom of the case and pick up existing mounting points for where the SSD holders would normally exist.
This design does not interfere with the fans on the GPU when installed properly. I am unfamiliar with comparability with other GPUs, but a trim/extrusion of the model will get it to the correct size. The tapered section should face the motherboard, while the flat side of stand should be facing the side window.
