I really liked this belt tensioner for the Wanhao/Monoprice i3's, but wanted to make it a bit more solid.

I kept the 1st part the same, but modified the part that connects to the carrier so that it holds the belt on both sides.
6/18/2017: I decided to modify this further, and make a Y axis tensioner with a similar design. For the X axis, you'll need to print the following:
1x X_Axis_Spacer.stl
1x i3_tensioner_2_REMIX_X_Axis.stl
1x i3_tensioner_REMIX.stl
For the y you'll need:
1x i3_tensioner_REMIX.stl
1x i3_tensioner_2_REMIX_Y_Axis.stl
The adjuster now slots into the base, for a more positive fit. I've printed these parts now in PLA, PETG, and ABS. I wouldn't recommend PLA, it's going to get too hot in both locations, might deform. I did have to adjust the stepper pulley on the Y and the idler pulley on the Y to straighten out the belt, but I may test a new version that puts the belt on the same side as the attachment point on the carrier. If that works out I'll update this again.
Also recommend only using 1 zip tie on each side of the belt, and keeping it close to the tensioner.
