Sunglasses #2

So I bought these cheap and fancy sunglasses this summer and as the price suggests: they didn't even last til autumn. Frame got broken and hinges already started to come loose while at the same time they got stuck too often (hard to explain). But the lenses are still fine.
However, this was a nice opportunity to test that structured-light-3D-scanner that I recently got access to.
So I disassembled the frame, cut it apart in the middle (it's symmetric anyways) and after treating it with chalk-powder spray, scanned the half-frame + side-piece. The quality is ok for printing, but it would take some hours of time to get it scanned and aligned perfectly.
After scanning, I attached some print-in-place-hinges in blender and it looks like that works better than expected.
One final note: I'm not sure if this scan qualifys for a copyright infringment but I guess it's just an innocent DIY sparepart. If someone well-versed onto that legal stuff reading this, please share your thoughts on that in the comments section.
edit: made the hinges thicker and refined the mesh.
editedit: added a logo on the sidepiece... because why not?!
