This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 13 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 This is a virtual model of a card model that I have had since 1987. It was published by Schreiber-Bogen in Germany. You could say that is took me 25 years to make this model! This is actually 2 models; the bare bones one above, and the enhanced one via the link at the bottom. This small castle is part of a larger set of models. It follows the model's measurements for a 1 inch = 16 feet scale. (Actual scale: 1:150) The angles are correct as well. The ground floor has 2 rooms in the main building and the garage, the entry tower has a storage room. (More towers and staircases!) The main floor has an Ell-shaped room with the livingroom in one leg, the kitchen and dining in the other leg. The next floor, level 2, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry. The entry tower has several floors. There is a spiral stairs in the larger tower, an elevator in the smaller tower. The entry tower has a drawbridge, non-functual of course. This represents an old castle that has been 'modernized'. Exterior still has places where the stucco has fallen off, revealing the stone beneath. The enhanced version has bathrooms, kitchen, and other 'stuff', including a hole in the bottom of the bay over the drawbridge. This is used to drop things, such as boiling oil, on pesky salesmen! TY DE for the doors and doorframes. Both versions have a secret staircase. house home building residential exterior exterior historic historic exterior exterior house house exterior residential building residential house
