My printer was hating the source design, decided to try my hand at one mine can handle.

Picked up some 0.5" neodymium magnets from Michael's. I glued top onto base with ca gel. Then CA glued the magnets into holder, and holder onto fan. It held with just magnet force, but I was afraid it would throw or wobble off over time so I glued it down. For final touch I glued some rubber pads onto the feet. I also ca glued the display into the base, the tabs on the sides are not the most robust mounts out there.
It could be prettier, but black pla is what I had enough of left.
