This is a thrifty alternative to the Intel Real Sense.
I designed this to be able to use two cheap standard webcams for robot stereo vision.
A professor told us this was the future, so here I am trying.
For the software I use ROS usb_cam and stereo_image_proc.
Wasn't yet able to generate 3D data though..
hmu here or on github if you are interested or have any suggestions.
I'll link the repo here once I have the udev rules, parameters and calibration figured out. It's quite fun.
Dimesions:
190x35.5x41mm
Lenses are 100mm apart
Mounting spots:
Bottom: 70mm
Back: 45mmx20mm
There is a printed 1/4" thread on the bottom for camera stands.
Materials:
16 M4 square nuts
10 M4x16 screws
very small philips screwdriver for webcam (PH00)
2 Logitech C170 Webcams
