greetings, friend !
i made this for my halloween costume last year, a steampunk cybernetic sea captain. I designed it on the CAD website TinkerCAD and printed the final pieces in a total print time around 6 hours (though there were several iterations). i burned myself out on 3d printing and modeling for a few months after making this thing, but i love it and it was totally worth it.
it fits okay. you gotta get a bearess to help you adjust the straps, and you'd probably want to use the circle insert to block your vision from the lens, less you gonna have a bad time.

it's got a magnifying glass lens in it. the lens is from Michael's, and the magnifying glass' handle unscrewed from the lens fixture very easily.

in the photos it's printed black and painted with gold Testor's brand model paint.

it's in 4 parts: the main headpiece, the side laser mount, and a small D-bracket and O bracket to secure the strap. the strap is a simple elastic strap from Michael's.

The tube thing on the side is a "laser" enclosure which, with a little work, should be able to fit an LED + resistor + AAA battery + some wires.

There's a hole on part of the monacle and on the laser enclosure -- you can run some decorative (or functional ?!?!) wires between them.

it says "RUN-CMD" on the side of the laser enclosure in a pac-man style font
if anyone ever makes one of these i'd absolutely flip out for an action shot
