Greetings Starfighter. When an ordinary teenager beats the record on the Starfighter game, he finds himself being whisked away by its creator to fight an interstellar war. Will victory or death await him on Rylos. The Last Starfighter was a big summer movie from 1984 and although an arcade game was promised in the film’s end credits it failed to emerge. So with that, I have recreated a small scale version of the arcade cabinet for you to enjoy. This kit has been designed to print in either PLA or Resin and comes in two different scales. Also included is a full set of decals for both scales of the kit. The screen area on the 1:12th scale is large enough to fit a 1.5inch display module.
I haven't seen an LED screen small enough to fit the 1:18th scale version. Printing Details: The prototype print was done using a Creality CR-10 with the following Cura settings. Light Grey Hatchbox PLA (1.75 mm) Printing Temp 198 deg Celsius Bed Temp 60 deg Celsius Print Speed 50 mm/s 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height. Wall thickness is 1.2 mm with an infill of 30% using a zigzag infill pattern. A brim was used with support material needed for some parts. 1:18th Scale kit stands at 4.25 inches tall 1:12th Scale kit stands at 6.25 inches tall Thank you for viewing this listing and I hope you will enjoy this piece of 80's retro fun. arcade video game cabinet starfighter 80s movie alex rogan gaming coin hobby diy hobby diy other
