Despite protests Eindhoven town hall, which was one of the first non-religious neo-Gothic buildings in the Netherlands (1868), was demolished in 1967. The new town hall, which dates from 1969, was built by Jan van der Laan. The building has 4 storeys. At the beginning of the Nineteen Nineties, Eindhoven local authority had council offices built opposite the existing town hall. The renovation work on the town hall was completed in 2002 and was carried out by the 'architecten-en-en' firm of architects. The building is home to the city council and it also has a wedding venue. #3dClearEarth #burgemeester #Eindhoven #Gemeente_Eindhoven #Gijzel #huldiging #PSV #Rob_van_Gijzel #Stadhuis #Stadhuisplein #Studio_Ode
