Hardin Valley Academy is Knoxville’s newest high school. Home of the Hawks, the $50 million school opened its doors in August 2008. It is the first new high school to be built by Knox County Schools in 40 years. The school was built to lessen crowding at Farragut, Bearden and Karns high schools.
