Spice Rack with Drawers (Stackable) by Quartinus

Last crawled date: 4 years, 2 months ago
Summary
This is a 2-drawer spice rack that is stackable with adjacent units to form a full tower. I have printed two sets, so I have 4 drawers total. Each pair of drawers holds 12 spice jars.
The entire thing is assembled with M3 6-8 mm length screws (the entire thing can be assembled with a single length of screw). No tapping should be required, but depending on your filament you may want to pre-tap to reduce the chance of cracking.
All pieces are labeled with the required print quantity to make one spice rack. 2x_(etc) means that the file must be printed twice to yield a full spice rack.
V2 Spice Rack
The V2 design contains several improvements over the V1. Notably:
The side rail profiles are fixed to tolerance the holes properly,
The datum pins for the side rails can now be printed and clearanced without support or cleanup
Side rails are labeled "Left" and "Right"
Top/Bottom plate has been thinned to reduce plastic usage
A full 2-drawer set now takes about 0.65 kg to print
ZIP contents are as follows:
Folder
Description
cura_3mf
.3mf files from my Cura including layout and print settings for Ender 3 Pro with Hatchbox PLA
creo_asm_v2
Creo Elements assembly .prt files and .asm file
stl
STL files
STEP_AP214
Spice rack part files in STEP format (AP214 formatted) output for CAD interchangeability
solidworks_export
Export in solidworks part format - I don't have solidworks so no guarantees
nx_export
Export in Siemens NX .prt format
V1 Spice Rack
The V1 design was my first attempt at this, I am including the files in case they are useful. Please don't print from this ZIP file.
