There are a gazillion and a half designs for these 3D printed ear saver things floating around the Internet, but many of them seem to suffer from the less than ideal packing efficiency on the print bed and the majority of them take about 10 to print each.
My goal was to reduce the print time to less than 10 minutes and increase the packing efficiency so more can be printed at a time.
So far, I got the print time down to ~6 minutes according to Cura. Furthermore, I can pack over 22 of these onto a Prusa Mk3 buildplate.
This is intended to be printed using PETG due to the flexibility and durability. PLA should work as well. Other materials should work almost as well. Flexible materials might not be stiff enough.
With all that said, I haven't tested this design yet. Print at your own risk.
This is a WIP.
