I'm getting creative in finding ways to let plastic make sound. As a follow-up to my Mammond, this is a little test object to see how this concept of making a musical tone will sound like.
An electric motor with a shaft diameter of 3mm can be pushed into the crankshaft. By varying the voltage on the motor you can change the pitch of the tone.
If gives good results, i'm going to think further about how to connect 12 of them to a keyboard with gears to have different pitches per key.
