Short update: Did some prints with that cooling duct and there is no sign of inadequate cooling on the prints, so I guess the cooling capabilities with this duct are alright.
I tried to remix this great part cooling duct to make it work with 5015 radial fans and this is the abomination that came out :)
There's a version for the stock hotend mount and one version for this 40mm hotend mount:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4280757
The idea is to use threaded inserts for the 2 fan mounting holes, then first screw the duct onto the hotend mount using 4 M3 flathead screws which should fit into the recesses. Then screw the 5015 fan to the duct into the treaded inserts.
If you don't have threaded inserts you probably can use a nut between extruder and duct to fixate the fan.
I'm sure the airflow isn't that great but I just printed a bridging test and it turned out quite good.... if that says anything..
