With this remix design you cannot only mount the beamer to a ceiling or under a board, but you can also attach it to a Manfrotto Powerclamp for mounting on a truss or other object.
The Manfrotto plate has a crossblock, that fits perfectly snugg into the Spigot hole. After printing it might need to be forced into the hole, but after that it fits like it's glued.
Screws Used:
2x Screw M3 x 20 (Manfrotto powerclamp)
3x Screw M4 x 16 (Beamer base plate)
2x Srcew M6 x 24 + Wing Nut + Ring (Interconnector to manfrotto)
1x Screw M8 x 50 + Wing Nut + Ring (Interconnector to beamer)
Remix changes:
The thickness of the plates to 10mm (from 5mm)
The beamer mounting plate has replaced screw holes
Part of the Manfrotto Powerclamp plate was designed by me with the measurements from the remix design.
