Very simple device that combines both functions:

Being able to angle the flash to bounce light off the ceiling will create a better looking image many times. Most digital cameras have a flash that only faces forward. This will burn your subject with hard light many times. The Alpha 6000 will do the job using this simple device:
pop the flash unit out of its box,
push the head of the flash toward the screen
push the carbon rod to the right
Isn't this a KISS concept ? (Keep It Smart and Simple)
EDIT: I moved the pin 2 mm forwards which allows to trim the angle of the flash just sliding backwards the hotshoe cover...
