Solenoid Valve Cover + LED slot
This is a cover for a 12V DC Solenoid Valve. I use these inexpensive valves
in the a garden watering system. The valves can be found for some 4-5 US$
or Euro on Ebay, Amazon etc...
The cover on these valves is quite fragile so I decided to print new ones.
In the process I added a slot for a 12V LED that indicates the valve is
open. For these LEDs I used the cool blue car interior LEDs that you can
find for a couple of bucks on Amazon or Ebay.
The T-shaped metal foot of these LED elements fits in the cover-slot, no
glue or screw needed.
Depending on how you install the valve, the slot will be top or bottom but
in Sketchup you can "flip" the design (select, right-click, flip...).
Print upside down - no supports needed
