I have to give credit to mistertech who published a brilliant wire station that sparked the idea behind the Solder Buddy. The solder buddy is, in essence, a station in which you can hold multiple wires for soldering. It includes a space for an average sized sponge to clean your soldering iron. If you are using an FDM printer and are planning on using this product, be careful not to make direct contact with the actual plastic on the station as it will most likely melt the part due to the heat from the iron itself. I am not, by any means, the first person to make a part like this. Nor did I discover the concept, this is simply an alternative to the standard stainless steel wire holders that is cost effective and a great demonstration of the powers of 3D printing.
