Sodor Viaduct

The Viaduct is a large two-track viaduct and one of the Sodor's most prominent landmarks. It is not to be confused with the Big Dipper, Hoo Valley Viaduct, Callan Viaduct, Hawin Lake Viaduct or the viaduct on the Mainland. The viaduct is located west of Cronk and east of Maron. A road runs under the viaduct. The Hawin Ab river also flows underneath it. Gordon lost his dome here in 1957. The viaduct underwent significant repairs in 1985, as its arches needed strengthening, which caused delays for Henry and James. The Viaduct's model is now on display at Drayton Manor, however, it was shortened and it has only one track running on it. This Viaduct's model was also used for the Three Way Road, Hoo Valley Viaduct and the Vicarstown Goods Viaduct from S4E15 Rusty to the Rescue. It was also reused as Elsbridge Viaduct, albeit modified. Although the Viaduct has not been seen since the fifteenth series, its CGI model was later extended and reused for the Mainland Viaduct.
