The hole is tapered towards the handle, so fitting the shaft into the handle can be done optimally by removing a bit of material around the end.
Outer hole diameter is 30mm
Inner circle at the bottom is 27mm
Shaft is 56mm long
If this doesn't fit you could just increase/decrease the whole size relative to what you need.
You can calculate the correct size like this:
% of resizing = (100% x [preferred outer hole diameter in mm]) / 30mm
