I just made some holes for hex nuts (M3) to be pressed into the printed part. This way you have a nice thread for screwing M3 screws.
Just put one nut every 2 holes or so. Every hole might be to tight, depending on the tolerances of your nut and your print.
The mount prints fine without support, just like the original.

oh, and just fyi, the screw/nut is designed for an m3 screw/nut (metric), and a #4-40 (us) would probably work as well.
