I liked @karelv's case mount but a) it doesn't work for a Raspi 3 B+ and b) I wanted the USB cable to go out toward the back. So I took its rail mount system and attached it to @Malolo's base, using the slit design version. The only downside is that the raspi camera slot is on the bottom now. I don't use it, so I don't really care :-), but it looks like there's enough clearance for it anyway.
