Original Photo Print under Acrylic Glass (120 x 90 cm, 48'' x 36''). Partly cloudy afternoon sky in Germany with smoke signals, 2015 (24 + 1 AP). Dominant Pantone colors (Fashion, Home & Interiors): Stormy Weather, Lead, White Sand, High-rise, Sleet. I try to capture (!?) the original sky’s grandeur in my Skies-Series experimenting with aperture and shutter speed and also trying to capture the specific structure of each of these wonderful skies. Even though I use a digital camera, I do not believe in post-shoot-editing for my Skies-Series: all photographs are as shot, no alterations, not even cropping. This photograph is available as original photo print under 0.24’’ (6 mm) acrylic glass. The acrylic glass adds depth and brilliancy. The print is mounted on an aluminum dibond backing and has metal rails on the back as a hanging system that is invisible from the front, but gives the picture a floating appearance (approximately 0.39’’ (1 cm) off the wall). Each print is part of a limited edition of twenty-four prints. Additionally, there is one artist's print. Each print is hand signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity, which is printed on Hahnemühle premium deckle edged paper with watermark and fluorescent security fibers.
