I saw the original video by FLOWALISTIK, and loved his idea. I ended up recreating it in Tinkercad to make it narrower so it would fit my tripod's release plate. I made it shorter as well, because I use a smartphone as my camera so I don't have the lenses and need the length, and I wanted it to print faster since I was using the lab at the local library and had time constraints.
For the projector platform I rebuilt the remix from MarcoMota01 because I tried to print it on a Robo and it didn't slice properly, so I just rebuilt it from scratch. I printed everything out, and found that it was too wide to fit in the hole and had to modify it with a rotary tool, so I have modified the platform pattern and hopefully it will be narrow enough now.
The dimensions of quick release plate this fits are about 43mm on the bottom, 35mm on the top, and 8mm tall (actual height, not distance along the edge). The glass I used was 2.5mm thick and it fit well.
