SmartHalo 35mm Handlebar Bracket Mount by motoergosum

This is a custom-designed mount for the SmartHalo. The factory mount requires lots of grinding and modification to fit 35mm fat bars commonly found on high end mountain bikes. Reuse the steel mounting plates and screws that came with the SmartHalo. Use lock nuts to secure.
The cutouts for the nuts are just big enough to fit a flat head screwdriver or needle nose pliers to hold the nut while tightening, making it virtually impossible for a thief to loosen the screws without removing the SmartHalo. This retains the security of the factory design, but my design locks down better and you'll notice the unit doesn't slide around on the bars as easily. No need for rubber pads or tape. Fits perfectly on 35mm mountain bike bars with a stem narrower than 50mm. Use the Wide_ version for wide stems like the RaceFace Turbine.
