Sinclair Hall is the headquarters of 1st Thornbury Scout Group on Park Rd, Thornbury. 1st Thornbury Scouts was founded in 1911. It moved to this site during the 1960s/1970s. The site is the old town gas works which occupied the land around the scout hut and the neighbouring car park. The scout hut was originally a shed from a housing development in the 1960s on the otherside of Thornbury. There is also a annex.
