I was rebasing some cavalry for my Conquistor army for Osprey Games' "Pikeman's Lament"; I've got the Gallopers in 3's on 60x60mm bases and needed some singles for casualty removal. But I didn't feel like marking out and cutting a piece from a fresh sheet of plasticard, so I decided to break in my new spool of green PLA. 32 minutes later, I had the three bases I needed.
That done, it was the work of a few minutes to whip up a few more sizes in Tinkercad. These are sizes that are useful to me in my games of "Black Powder" (Warlord Games) and the various Osprey series. I mostly use low-profile bases so these ones are only 1mm thick; if you use mainly metal figures you might want them a bit heftier so increase the Z-axis only to 150% or 200% for 1.5mm or 2mm thickness at the listed sizes. I think they should work well with most resin-, plastic- or 3D printed miniatures and for a lot of games. I did not include a 25x25mm size so if you want that, increase X- and Y-axes only to 125% on the 20x20mm one.
I will probably do a set of 2mm thick bases and perhaps some rounds when I get time. If you have a size you'd like to see or ellipses etc let me know and I'll consider it for an update or a future set.
