A simple VMC design. Designed for the DIY / home workshop engineer.
Max traverse; X=800 Y=600 Z=700
Motors; 3x Nema34
Ballscrews; Double nutted SFU25-10
Linear rails; HiWin HGR25
Guide blocks; HiWin HGH25
Spindle; Ø100, water cooled, using ER20 collets

Designed to be easy to build using stock aluminium tooling plate. Rigidity comes from bound granite resin.

All component dimensions (ballscrews, linear bearings & motor mounts) are verified from physical units I have in my workshop.

My goals are only for machining lightweight composite tooling boards so don't expect this to be suitable for cutting steel.
