I needed a simple switch box for an electronic project (a short-wave receive loop antenna using the LZ1AQ amplifier). As I couldn't find an existing design anywhere I made my own. As you can see it is designed for 3 sub-miniature switches. NB The box just houses three switches. My LZ1AQ loop amp control board is in a separate box behind my desk, with all the power, control and RF cables.
There are small detents under each switch, so the locking washers that stop the switches rotating are out of sight inside the box. There is a support at the rear of the box where you can tie-wrap a cable for strain relief. I also designed a rear panel with a cable cutout. The panel is a snug fit so can just be pushed into place but there are screw holes for M2.6x6 self-tapping screws if you wish to use them.
