This is a case for Silicon Lab's Thunderboard Sense board
I've designed this to use the sensors of the board outdoors, but I did not test it yet.
Features:
Venting hole above the temperature/humidity and the air pressure/temperature sensors. The holes are going upwards to the sensor to avoid water getting in
5.3mm hole above the light sensor
Drain holes at the bottom to remove water possibly getting into the case and to let air circulate
Hanger
Other parts needed:
5mm or 1/5 inch acrylic/plexiglass rod, cut down to size and polished (e.g. with a dremel), and glued into the hole
7mm M2 pan-head screw to mount the board
14mm M3 flat-head screw to attach the parts
Battery is replaceable if the board is mounted in the case just by removing the back, but the USB port is not accessable.
Update 11/28: Since I abandoned this project for a while, and it doesn't seem likely that I continue working on this in the near future, here's the onshape design:https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f00b90adf3f73213d10b0bbe/w/7ea6c24b9ab1523ab50943db/e/11336199bd39253feec0505f
I keep it as working progress, but I printed prototypes of it and it did seem to work, I just didn't want to release it until I'm done with the project I was working on, but I don't know when it would happen.
