Frame brace for the X1. My printer is what is being called a V4 so I can't say for sure if this will work with other versions or not. The top parts attach to the printer with m5 t-nuts and m5x10 screws. The bottom part attaches to the printer where the front feet attach (reuses same hardware) and one of the cover screw spots (need slightly longer m3 screw). I used 1/2" electrical conduit cut to 27 inches and that is clamped using m3 screws and nuts (10m long or longer suggested). Some tape around the ends of the tubes will make them more secure.
This does not limit build volume at all. At maximum height the cable will press slightly against the top left bracket but shouldn't be a problem. The bottom brackets are intentionally 3mm shorter than the original feet were. Either print the pad file in a soft tpu or put some other soft padding material under those parts.
To put the top outside m5 t-nuts in place, you will need to temporarily remove the frame screw next to where it will go.
Hope this works for you.
