Shotgun House

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 From the wonderful city of NOLA (New Orleans), I give you a nicely crafted shotgun house. It is called that after its long, narrow layout (like a shotgun). Also, like most shotgun shacks, you would be able to stand at the front door, aim a gun, shoot, and the bullet would sail through the back door. Due to the soft southern soil, the home is raised on a series of concrete block piers or foundations. The crawl space under the house shows the rafters. Look down there if you wish. There, all the pipes would be as well (not in model). If it were a close foundation, there would only be black like in the rest of my models. A wooden skirt covers the space. Inside, you have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small kitchen. The dinette is so small that it only fits a small table and 2 chairs. And a little living room. Naer the back, there is a stacked washer/dryer which share the nook with the water heater. The HVAC system is in the ceiling (not shown in model). Above the house is nothing more than a long attic. There is a door in the rear gable made for larger storage. There was a metal platform and steep stairs but wasn't there since Katrina :( i hope you like this and get a taste of New Orleans from this model. It also could be in Georgia, Mississippi, or anywhere in The South.
