Shortened motor bracket - Wanhao Duplicator 6 / Monoprice Maker Ultimate
This is a modified X/Y axis motor bracket for the Wanhao Duplicator 6 and Monoprice Maker Ultimate. It will increase the distance between the Astrosyn MY17RMDAMP Nema 17 damper and the heat bed.
Print this with a stiff and durable material and use a high infill value!
Installation
You will probably need a bit longer M3 screws between the damper and the bracket.
You should definately use washers between the two M3 screws/three nuts and the bracket! There is otherwise a high chance that you'll crush the plastic when you tighten the screws and nuts.
Note
There are two versions:
"Shortened Motor bracket" is the one I've tested and currently using.
"Shortened Motor bracket - untested" is reinforced with a 1mm thick backplate to reduce flex even more. It has holes for the screwdriver. I have not tested this version yet, so please let me know if you try this one!
