The Shogun Miharashidai was a high-performance and expensive coupe made by Shogun Motors from 1991 until 1998. The Miharashidai was initially sold only in Japan and in the 1994 it appeared on the American market with the name 'Starlet Wankel', for the type of engine used. The Miharashidai came up with three different options: the first one uses a 2.0L naturally aspirated, fuel injected L4 DOHC, 130hp and a top speed of 280km/h, coupled to a 5-speed automatic gearbox system in a RWD layout. The second one uses a 1.8L 2-rotor Wankel, 160hp and a top speed of 300m/h, coupled to a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox system in a RWD layout. The third one uses a 2.2L Wankel engine made with ARTA engine components, 200hp and a top speed of 325km/h, coupled to a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox system in a 4WD layout. In the 1996 the Miharashidai received a facelift, deleting the hidden headlights. In the 1998 the Miharashidai disappears from market.
