SG90 Servo Stand for Tower Pro Servo
UPDATED FILES AFTER MY FIRST BUILD WAS A LITTLE POOP(!)
As detailed on:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:787942
Print upside down. -As shown in STLs
This Servo Stand will allow your servos to stand upright whilst you (faff) around with your Arduino AATINY85 thinking "Why the hell isn't this thing responding to SoftwareServo.H as expected?????"
Oh the joy.
Though eventually you may find someone's code like https://digistump.com/board/index.php?topic=444.0 which stops you ripping out whatever is left of your hair.
Anyways, kudos to you Mr. AMorris.
Servos and ATTINY85 are cool, but what if you want to have the servos stand up on their own and rotate freely without the hand to steady them?
This stand is what.
Completely free, seriously, no "if, whys or buts" - this is in the public domain - so none of that "Hey, dude you can't make profit from my work!!!" stuff.
Make Profit. Make a silver plated one. Make a solid Gold one. Sell it to a toothless old lady for £20,000....... It doesn't matter.
If what you care about is getting the design out to people who need it, then you make it completely free, not "open Source, with caveats" - give that stuff away for free.
If someone wants to tool up and produce 20,000 of these babies and amortise tooling across the first run, then its probably cheaper than 3D printed, so should be cheaper and of course you can't stop other people making it cheaper so it controls the profits the "evil business" makes on it.
You can buy this and any other design on my thingiverse page from me for £10,000 + postage, or through my US agents. You can sell any design on my thingiverse page for £4,000 - especially in North America.
All parts easily available are for sale.
This makes it impossible to patent the designs I've put in open source as they are all clearly for sale in America, land of the messed up patent system. Since they are for sale, no one can patent anything I've openly divulged.
Anyway.
Servo Stand,
Enjoy.
