I designed this case to protect my extra SFP and SFP+ transceivers. This should fit normal fiber optic transceivers. I'm not sure how it would fit an RJ45 variant.
If your printer doesn't have good tolerances then it might be too tight to remove the module. My printer had that issue. If the module doesn't slide in cleanly then don't force it or it will get stuck.
