This is the second version of my Sextant, an instrument that sailors use to calculate their latitude with, by measuring the angle between the Sun (or some other star) and the horizon.
There is a fixed scale but I haven´t had a chance to verify it, so if it is not correct please print one yourself using this guide here: http://www.tecepe.com.br/nav/XTantProject.htm
Use M3 screws to fix the handle, the pointer should just be snapped in (using glue is also possible but make sure the parts that need to move can move!)
Oh and you will need two 40 x 12 mm Mirrors, ideally without glass, just polished metal so there is no refraction.
Changes in the Sextant MK2:
Frame slightly bigger
Lower mirror and sights are fixed now
The pointer should now simply snap in
The scale is now "engraved" into the main frame so it wont collide with the pointer
