Стул Series 7 не был предназначен для конкретного проекта в отличие от большинства других конструкций Якобсена и является более гибким, чтобы использоваться в различных интерьерах и вписываться в различное окружение.
Дизайн BIG сосредотачивает внимание на материальности и сути слоистой фанеры. Используя параметрическую модель, пятнадцать элементов поддерживают уникальное сиденье и спинку стула.
Модель сгруппирована. Развёрнут MeshSmooth, любая текстура ложится правильно - есть развертка.

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, seven architects including Bjarke Ingels, Zaha Hadid and Jean Nouvel took to reinterpreting Arne Jacobsen’s Series 7 chair.
The Series 7 chair was not designed for a particular project unlike most of Jacobsen’s other designs and is therefore more flexible to being used in various ways and suit a range of contexts.
BIG’s design references the multiple ‘seveners’ that can be stacked, focusing on the materiality and the essence of the layered veneer. Although being a subtle repetition of the original design, the fifteen elements support the singular seat and back of the chair.
