Serfas Thunderbolt Bike tail light Saddlebag Mount by joeostrander

I really like the Serfas Thunderbolt Bike tail light*, but when I mount it on my saddle post, there are 2 problems:
1) the angle is poor, pointing slightly downward
2) my saddle bag / toolkit blocks the view of the light
