Bearing rail is now mated with the switchplate resulting in one less part to print. Shortened the mounting plate because it collided with the bearing rail.
Either print 2x side covers OR 1x side cover + side cover mount.
Materials needed
2x 8mm rods, one between shifter knob -> hinge and the second hinge -> bearing holder
2x ball bearings 8mm inner diameter. I.e 8x7x22mm
6x 4mm bolts with a length of atleast 45mm
2x 8mm bolts, length around 15mm
a suitable spring
a shift knob
2x microswitches with a max width of 2 cm or 2x magnets and two hall effect sensors (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07DPVTKBB?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1)
